piece 11

My picture is one of my fravs because I can look back at what I did and it just have so many shades of color to make it pop alittle more. The shapes that I put in my picture frames the paper beter than what I had.

Before I started I practiced by created four sketches. altering the composition. I then drew my piece bigger and practiced with color pencils. Then I started thinking about how can I change it alittle more. To see some of the things that I need to come back and look back at just to see it for myself.

The big idea of my piece is to educate viewers and allow people to show how they feel about my picture. So I can have good and bad feed back so I can know what not to do the next time I'm drawing but it's always good to get back feedback.

My goal as an artist was to create a piece that is out of my zone so that I can learn new things and how to be better at doing new things. Because all things are not the same. I wanted to just change it up some time so I want be doing the same thing over and over again.

While creating this piece I learned about when and how to burnish with colored pencils. Because they are so different and so not paint but I have to get use to beening home and work with what I got at home. Because I dont got evrything like everybody esle. I am still very happy with the end result. This piece will influence my future works by using the media again and also stepping outside my comfort zone and creating something that was very meaningful to me.
